It’s very common to not know what you want to do with your life while in high school or after high school. It takes time to figure out what you want to do in the future because one, your life depends on it and it’s something you’re going to be doing for the rest of your life. For students that don’t know what they want to do in life, I recommend you try the WorkSource Virtual Work Experience Program because it gives you the opportunity to explore different in-demand industries and occupations in a completely virtual setting. While participating in the Virtual Work Experience program, I learned about high demand industries and occupations from industry experts and earned $1,000.00 over the course of the five-week program. The Virtual Work Experience Program was the best and it was easy to navigate. You don’t have to have a computer to participate. I used my phone to participate and complete the assignments. I got to do the webinars, assignments, and modules early in the morning and still had the rest of my day to myself. I finished high school and completed the five-week program over the summer, and now I am more decided about my future and what path I want to take. I was just accepted into a local technical college and I will be majoring in nursing. I recommend the Virtual Work Experience Program to any high school student.
