Helping Georgia’s Youth Find Meaningful Employment

WorkSource Middle Georgia offers young people between 16 and 24 years of age the opportunity to gain the skills and knowledge they need to find meaningful employment. We offer academic support, career exploration, and work experience training through our Career Pathways Program to help build workplace skills and to develop a plan to attain a college degree, a certification or a trade certificate.

Career Pathways

The Career Pathways Program for young adults is designed to provide youth in Middle Georgia with opportunities to gain valuable work experience, training opportunities, and mentorship. The program will keep young people gainfully employed and engaged while elevating them to greater potential for professional growth and personal achievement.

How We Can Help
  • Part-time employment
  • Job skills training
  • Financial guidance
  • College and career tours
  • College application and financial aid help
  • One-on-one mentorship
  • Support through education and training

Middle Georgia is ideally located and has driven enormous growth in the warehousing and distribution sector, which means today there’s high demand for local workers to fill open positions in this industry.

I encourage any student looking for career advice or work experience opportunities to check out the WIOA program for youth and see all that it has to offer.
